Staci and Reese were one of the amazing couples that entered our annual $1k Wedding Collection Contest. We are so happy we chosen them to be winners as well as many others that entered. The day of our meeting I remember getting a call from Staci because she was nervous about making the monetary commitment to hiring us so to ease her fears I let her know no decisions had to be made that day and we could just meet to show them our work. I let her know then she could decide whether she wanted to accept the collection or not.
Well we met and I was nervous because I really wanted to be a part of their day. We showed her our beautiful albums and other products and then she looked at Reese and said, "Well I'm convinced," and my heart just went pitter patter and a big smile appeared. They booked us that day at our meeting that almost did not take place.
We are so grateful that they took a chance on us and believed in our work. For their engagement session we met at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC about 2 hours before sunset. I was so excited because I had always wanted to photograph there and had only photographed there once but had not use the entire grounds. Well that day we got to see just what the NC Museum of Ar had to offer and was not disappointed. Their grounds are beautiful and made for the perfect backdrop to their photos. The day was absolutely gorgeous and so were they. The lighting was amazing and we could not have asked for a more lovely day or couple.
As the sun was setting we ventured out to Lafayette Village, a small restaurant villa in Raleigh, NC. It's like a little slice of Italy right here in the triangle. Once we arrived the light was quickly fading so we had about 30 minutes to make some magic happen and we certainly did.
Congratulations again Staci and Reese. We are looking forward to photographing your wedding day in May, 2019.
