Sade and Garion are one of our favorite couples and made our jobs extremely easy from their Raleigh engagement session, see here, to their beautiful wedding day in Garner, NC at The Hall and Gardens at Landmark. It started with the sun rising and giving us the perfect weather for a North Carolina garden wedding. It was a sunny bright day which presents it’s challenges for a photographer but nothing we couldn’t handle.
We started a little different with this wedding which I now think is the perfect way to go. The groom and his groomsmen were up first for their photos and it allowed us to take care of him first and then spend the rest of the time before the ceremony focused on the bride. We met the guys at 1:00pm and they were instructed to arrive dressed and ready except for the groom. However, only a few followed instructions but we are use to that so we still made it work. The groom choose traditional tux with a tail and I thought everyone looked very classy and regal. They definitely kept us laughing the entire time.
Once the guys were complete we headed to Sade who was in the bridal suite getting her makeup done. We started as we always do by collecting her details to photograph while also photographing her getting her makeup done. The bride chose to only have her mother present with her at the time and the bridesmaids sequestered to another room on the 2nd floor. She did not want anyone to see her until she came down the aisle, even the bridesmaids. I think she wanted that wow factor as she came down the aisle. Once her makeup was done Mrs. Pam, the bride’s mother, helped her get dressed. Her gown was gorgeous and was a cinderella shape and fit her perfectly.
The ceremony was outdoor and for an early March wedding it was warm and the perfect temperature to keep the guest comfortable. Mrs. Mangum came down the aisle with her father to mane oos and ahs at her beauty. The ceremony location was beautifully decorated by Designs by Devereux. There was four large flower bouquets around the ceremony space and only added to the beauty of the day.
The reception space was a also decorated by Designs by Devereux and was breathtaking. We love a reception with different heights of centerpieces and a head table decorated to the T. They had a chair fit for a king and queen for the couple to sit in. The gold tones with the white reception decor was beautifully done. The reception was kicked off with a hope entrance by the wedding party and newlyweds and the party never stopped. The end the night they exited with a sparkler send off into a stretched limo. We loved every moment of this beautiful North Carolina wedding.
